Guillermo Villa

Advisory Council

Guillermo Villa is the Senior Vice President of Global Total Rewards for ACI Worldwide (ACI).  He is responsible for the design and implementation of the Global Rewards strategy for the Company. ACI is a publicly traded company; and is the leader in Real Time Digital Payments for over 14 trillion dollars in payments and securities transactions per day. ACI’s global print foot has presence in 35 countries with approximately 4,000 employees. 

Before joining ACI, Guillermo was Chief Human Resources Officer for HBO Latin America, for six years.  

Prior to that, he worked in several leadership roles in Human Resources for companies such as: Royal Caribbean Cruises, Citibank, Willis Towers Watson, Microsoft and Mercer. Guillermo started his HR career with Procter and Gamble working with Gillette at their Boston headquarters.

He has been a member of WorldatWork since 1997 and has served in several roles as a faculty member, Director of their Society Board and their Global Advisory Council. He has been frequently quoted as a global HR expert in World at Work and Willis Towers Watson’s publications.

Guillermo holds an MBA from Instituto Panamericano de Alta Direccion (IPADE), a B.A. in Industrial Relations from Universidad Iberoamericana, and a Certificate of Specialist Studies in Administration and Management from Harvard University.
