Dr. Bahaudin G. Mujtaba

Dr. Bahaudin G. Mujtaba is professor of Management, International Management and Human Resources at Nova Southeastern University’s H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States of America. Bahaudin has been serving as a faculty member at NSU since 1996 teaching diversity, leadership, international management, communication, and human resources topics to undergrad, master’s, and doctoral students.  Bahaudin was given the prestigious annual “Faculty of the Year Award” twice over the past three decades. 

On a global scale, Bahaudin received the “Pride of HR Profession” Award at the World HRD Congress annual conference, held in Mumbai, India. Bahaudin is SHRM-SCP certified. 

In terms of practice, Bahaudin has served as a professor, director, manager, trainer, executive coach, consultant, and management development for over 35 years now. His areas of research are management development, management communication, diversity management, leadership, and cross-cultural management. Bahaudin has served as Chair for national and international conferences around the globe. Bahaudin has served as a speaker, visiting professor, session chair, and discussant for conferences in China, Japan, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Morocco, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bahama, Brazil, Jamaica, and others. More specifically, as a visiting professor or researcher, Bahaudin has provided lectures or seminars with such schools as the following universities around the globe: Ramkhamheang University and Prince of Songkhla University in Thailand, University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam, Jinan University in China, Al-Akhawayn University in Morocco, Dunya University of Afghanistan, COMSATS University in Pakistan, Superior University in Pakistan, and others. 

Bahaudin has written and published over two hundred peer-reviewed articles in academic journals. Bahaudin has authored and co-authored over ten academic and professional books, which are used for management development and some academic curriculums at universities in North America, Asia, and Africa. 

Bahaudin was born in Khoshie of Logar, raised in Kabul of Afghanistan, and completed his high school and college education in the United States.  Bahaudin can be reached through email at: mujtaba@nova.edu
